Reliance Jio has entered into agreements with 22 international airlines to provide internet connectivity across Indian airspace. For this, data plans starting at Rs 499 per day have also been introduced.
AirLingus, Air Serbia, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Cathay Pacific, EgyptAir, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Euro Wings, Kuwait Airways, Lufthansa, Malaysia Airlines, Malindo Air, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Turkish Airlines.
Plans of Rs 699 and Rs 999 are also available. The Rs 499 plan offers 250 MB of data, 100 minutes of outgoing calls, and 100 SMS. The Rs 699 plan offers 500 MB of data, 100 minutes of outgoing calls, and 100 SMS. One GB of data is available for Rs 999. Outgoing calls and SMS will be similar to other plans.
The data will be accompanied by SMS service. Call service is only available on selected airlines. No incoming calls. Depending on the airline, the speed of the data may vary.
