New Delhi: The Ministry of Information and Technology has sent a letter seeking clarification on the new privacy policy of the social media platform WhatsApp.
WhatsApp, which said it was ready to respond to all issues, explained to the Center that the new policy would ensure transparency.
WhatsApp’s explanation states that personal information will be protected and that the personal information of individuals will never be read on WhatsApp or Facebook.
