What’s behind the film:
The whole movie was enriched with the best technical quality, the team behind the camera had made a tremendous effort to make this movie as an entertainer. The cinematography by Abhinandan Ramanujam shined gloriously from the beginning, his various methods of shots and the undertaking aspects according to the plot looked authentic. The luxury livings of the main characters were captured nicely, their family culture and their living conditions were nice for the story. The camera shots to capture the various emotions of the actions were also adequately set by the cinematographer. The editing by Akhilesh Mohan looks crisp and clear with perfect timings in cutting and mismatches weren’t felt in the viewing experience. Also, the transition to the next scenes was steady and the colour grading also suited well.
The film does have incredible musical work and Deepak Dev hasn’t forgotten to give his best. The song “Parayathe Vannen” sung by M.G Sreekumar and Vineeth Sreenivasan was good to hear and the matching visuals had also given a fine pleasant feel. The lyrics by Lakshmi Shrikumar fitted for the track rightly and the voice of M.G Sreekumar was delightful to hear, giving the nostalgic vibe of his previous hits. The title track “Vannu Pokum sung by Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran made a gleam through their voice, their singing combination felt interesting. The final song “Kanakuyile” was enriched with positive vibes and happiness of love and family sentiments and the beats of the song were also amazing to hear.
