The government agrees for judicial investigation on solar case and the same has now ended the secretariat siege which continued on the second day also. But, L D F leaders have said that, they will continue the protest in a different form. The government had declared holidays for the secretariat functions for two days, L D F leaders still did not change from the decision instead the leaders were thinking about changing the style. Two small incidents were recorded this morning at trivandrum one at Bakery Junction and one at M G Road this morning.
L D F has claimed this siege as the biggest strike Kerala has ever seen and the government had partially failed to maintain peace at the state capital. Meanwhile, U D F leaders have agreed for the judicial enquiry on solar issue and the declaration will be in the next cabinet meeting. They also mentioned that the two holidays given were not going to solve the issue forever and the siege had created a big hole in the law and order system at the state capital. This has forced the government to agree for a judicial enquiry on solar case. U D F hopes that, now since the government has agreed for the legal investigation L D F may refrain from their top demand of resignation of the Chief Minister. Government also requested the L D F leaders to put forward their complaints, suggestions regarding the legal investigation. They also mentioned that, they are willing to discuss the terms and conditions of the investigation with L D F leaders.
