Another milestone for the state in the field of tourism…!!! The inauguration of ‘The Raviz’, a five-star hotel with seven-star facility, which was inaugurated by the Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan, at Ashtamudi Kayal, Kollam, yesterday, August 19,  marked a step forward to make Kollam a tourism hot spot of the globe.

“Kerala is surely the ‘God’s own country’”, said King Khan, while launching the hotel. He also said that the world deserves to see such a beautiful place. “I will definitely come here with my family”, he added. The event was rich with the presence of many great personalities from socio-political-cultural fields of the country.

Hon. Chief Minister of the state, Sri Oommen Chaandi, inaugurated the function, in which Union Minister for Tourism, Subodh Kant Sahay, was the chief guest.  Superstar Mohanlal launched the logo of the hotel, while Union Minister for Civil Aviation Vayalar Ravi delivered the keynote address.
