Kavya Madhavan was born on September 19, 1984 in the village of Nileshwaram in Kasargod district, Kerala.She entered the film industry as a child artist in Kamal’s film Pookalam Varavayi(1991).She is one of the the most popular and talented actressin the Malayalam film industry as of now.She has acted with most of the top malyalam actors.Kavya’s famous films are Chandranudhikkunna Dikkil, Mizhi Randilum, Madhura Nombarakattu,  and Meesa Madhavan of which the last movie bagged a record collection in malayalam film industry. Her other films are , Aparichithan, Perumazhakkalam, Gaurisankaram, Runway, Anadhabhathram and many more.She has recieved many awards for her brilliant perfomance and Kerala government presented her the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress in Perumazhakkalam.Her latest release was Ee Pattanathil Bhootham opposite Mammootty .

The actress decided to settle for marital bliss in the prime of her career early this year .Kavya Madhavan Tied knot with Nishal Chandran at Kollur Mookambika Temple on February 05 2009. But when the heartening news of her separation from her husband Nishal Chandra came, rather too early after her marriage, everyone sympathised with her.

The actress has decided to comeback again by doing title role in Major Ravi’s Maadan kolli.So today on her birthday we wish her all the happiness and a peaceful life ahead
