The pooja of the movie ‘Suhruthu’ directed by late director Bharathan’s son Siddharth took place recently.The pooja was attended by members of film fraternity including Dileep,Rima Kallingal,K P A C Lalitha,Jayaraj,Lal and minister Joseph Thettayil.

The movie is a remake of Bharathan’s big classic success ‘Nidhra’. The movie will be produced under the banner of Kuttamath films.The movie will feature Reema Kallingal and debutante Manu in the lead roles.Bharathan’s wife and Siddharth’s mother K P A C Lalitha will play the same role that she had played in the original.The shooting of the movie is expected to start on January 5 at Aranmula.It will be cinematographed by Venugopal and scripted by Vinu Kiriyath and Sidharth.
