Apart from film wards ,Amritha TV honored outstanding personalities for their contribution to the nation. Amritha TV Honored E. Sreedharan (OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION IN REVOLUTIONIZING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION ), Kapil Dev (LEGENDARY CONTRIBUTION TO CRICKET) and V.V.S Laxman (OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO CRICKET.) The show was crowded with the celebrities from Malayalam and outside. Mohan Lal received the award for best actor and Kavaya Madhavan got the best actress award.
