New Delhi: COVID vaccine may not be available to children in the early stages. This is because even the leading companies conducting final stage experiments have not started experimenting on children. The highly promising Oxford vaccine has been announced for use in 5-18-year-olds but has not been implemented.
Those under 12 years of age were not considered in the Covaccine experiment developed in India. There is also concern that delays in vaccinating children could affect them until the next school year.
