Riyadh: In Saudi Arabia, where the spread of Covid continues to be rampant, the community fasting and dinner party during Ramadan has been restricted. There will be no public iftar dinners in mosques and hotels. The decision was taken jointly by the six ministries of Home Affairs, Health, Urban and Rural Affairs, Islamic Affairs, Tourism, and Media.
Restaurants must deliver the Iftar parcel orders early. The drive-through delivery system must be configured. To this, campaigns will be expanded across the country. Restrictions will be placed on the number of people attending the ceremonies. Officials said steps would be taken to expand the area for Eid prayers by setting up more mosques and places of worship.
