Karachi: 10 killed in attack on police station in Pakistan. Six people were injured. The terrorist attack took place at the station in Draban region of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. The terrorist entered the building and attacked with a hand grenade.
No one has claimed responsibility for the incident. A thorough investigation is underway into the attack, which happened just days before the general elections. Draban is considered the stronghold of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party. There were reports that party leader Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman had arrived in Afghanistan for a meeting with the Taliban supreme leader a month later. The party has also demanded that the election be postponed due to security reasons.

On the same day, another leader of the party was also shot dead in Balochistan. Four people were killed in a bomb blast during an election rally in Balochistan last week. Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.
