Khartoum: The Indian Embassy issued a warning amid the escalation of civil unrest in Sudan. Indians have been warned not to go out and not to stand in open places like balconies. It is also advised to carry essential food, water and medicine.
The clash is between the country’s military and paramilitary forces. The conflict has intensified in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. Clashes are spreading to more areas. Many people are stuck in many places. Air strikes are also strong. Air traffic was suspended following the shooting of a Saudi plane the previous day.
Meanwhile, the body of Malayali Albert August, who was shot during the riots, was shifted to the hospital.The dead body was removed from the flat after 24 hours. The body was removed yesterday when a three-hour ceasefire was announced.
Union Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muralidharan informed. According to official figures, 56 people have died and around 600 people have been injured in the riots.
