New Delhi: India urges citizens, including students, to leave Ukraine in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The Ministry of External Affairs also directed the Indian Embassy staff to return. The move comes amid provocations from the Russian side. The Indian Embassy in Ukraine has said that charter or other aircraft should not be allowed to leave Ukraine.
Students should check the embassy’s Facebook or Twitter for information on charter flights. Indians can contact the Ministry of External Affairs or the Control Room for information and assistance. A 24-hour helpline has also been set up. Special flights from Ukraine will be arranged on the 22nd, 24th and 26th of this month as part of the Vande Bharat Mission.
