Islamabad: Death toll exceeds 100 in Pakistan’s Peshawar mosque attack. More than 200 people were injured in the accident. There are reports that the condition of some people is very serious. Around 300 people were inside the church.
The severed head of a suicide bomber recovered by the Taliban responsible for the blast. Peshawar City Police Officer Muhammad Aijaz Khan said that the severed head of the suspect was recovered from the scene. Police recovered the head on Tuesday. The Suicide bomber’s head was also found during the recovery of the bodies. The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. on Monday. During the afternoon prayer, he was in the first row of the mosque. He exploded during Namaz.
The police also stated that they will investigate how he entered the mosque after bypassing the security systems. The police concluded that he must have entered the mosque by using an official vehicle.
