Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed interest in talks with India. In a channel interview, Shehbaz Sharif stated that he has learned lessons from wars and wants peace with India.
Sharif said India and Pakistan can grow only if there is peace. We have engineers, doctors, and skilled workers. All of them can be used, and that requires peace.
We have to decide for ourselves whether we want to make peace and make progress or waste time fighting each other. Pakistan fought three wars with India. It mostly resulted in misery, poverty, and unemployment. We have learned our lesson and must live in peace. We should also be able to solve problems.
Pakistan does not want to waste resources on bombs and ammunition. The Prime Minister of Pakistan said that this is to be conveyed to Prime Minister Modi.
