Kyiv: The Indian Embassy has advised the remaining Indians in Ukraine to leave Ukraine as soon as possible. The Ministry of External Affairs had earlier issued instructions for the return of Indian citizens in the situation where Russia has intensified its attack on Ukraine.
The Indian Embassy in Kyiv has given instructions to the Indians who are currently in Ukraine to return as soon as possible. The instructions are to cross out through the border checkpoints of neighboring countries of Hungary, Slovakia, Moldova, Poland, and Romania in the western region of Ukraine.
External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has informed that passport, resident permit, and student card must be kept in hand. As Russia has stepped up attacks, including in residential areas, the Ministry of External Affairs has directed Indians in Ukraine to report full details to the embassy and avoid unnecessary domestic travel.
