Washington: Four hurricanes have killed at least 50 people in the southeastern US state of Kentucky. Governor Andy Bessier said the storm caused heavy damage within a 200-mile radius. The governor announced a state of emergency in Kentucky.
The media reported that about 100 people were trapped in the Amazon godown in Illinois. It was the largest hurricane in Kentucky’s history. Most died when the roof of a candle factory in Mayfield collapsed.
Rescue efforts are underway to evacuate hundreds of employees trapped in Amazon’s warehouse during the hurricane.
