Riyadh: The Houthis have launched a drone attack on Saudi Arabia’s southeastern Abaha, Khameesh Mushayat airports, reports say. The drone strikes hit control towers in both areas.
The Houthis have carried out a number of attacks in recent days. The Saudi-led coalition is backing the official government of Yemen. The Houthis launched an offensive against the Saudis after the capture of Yemen’s capital, Sanaa.
Tensions in the region began after the Houthi rebels overthrow the government in Yemen.
