Seoul: The South Korean government announced an investigation into the Halloween party that led to the death of 151 people in Seoul. The state also declared national mourning on Sunday. The government will bear the medical expenses of the injured. President Yoon Suk Yeol Ah said that the government will give financial aid to the relatives of the dead. The cause of the accident will be thoroughly investigated. Necessary action to avoid the recurrence of such accidents in the future, the president added. According to reports, 151 people have died in the accident so far. About a hundred people are undergoing treatment. According to local reports, as many as one million people attended the Halloween party. Most of them were teenagers under 20 years of age. Of the dead, 97 were women and 54 were men. 19 of them are foreigners.
