Europe approves Pfizer vaccine for children 12 to 15 years of age. Permission was granted after evaluation by the European Medicines Agency.
The Pfizer vaccine is currently available in Europe for people 16 and older. Earlier, Canada, the US and Germany had approved the use of Pfizer in children.
