Angara: An explosion at a coal mine in northern Turkey has killed 41 workers. 10 people were injured. Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu confirmed this. The accident occurred at a state-owned mine in Amazra, Bartin province.
It is reported that 110 workers were in the mine at the time of the accident. Earlier in 2014, 301 people were killed in a coal mine fire in the western Turkish city of Soma.
