Trekking alone is no longer possible here. This has been clarified by the Nepal Tourism Board. The ban has been imposed since April 1.
This rule applies to foreign tourists. Nepal Tourism Board Spokesperson Maniraj Lamichane informed that this decision is being taken because of security reasons. He said that the decision to ban solo trekking was reached in such a situation. Maniraj added that guides are a must for adventure tourism.
