London: A Malayali woman and her 2 children were found murdered in the UK. The woman’s husband was taken into police custody in connection with the incident. Anju (40), a resident of Kottayam Vaikom, who is a nurse at the UK Government Hospital, and her children Jeeva (6) and Jhanvi (4) were killed. The incident happened at 11.15 pm Indian time last night.
Chelevalan Saju (52), a native of Kannur Patiyur Kompanpara, who works in catering in the UK, is in custody. Anju’s friends and relatives could not reach her when they called her on the phone, and they came to know about her death when they went to her house and checked.
The police found the woman dead inside the house and the children in critical condition. The children were taken to the hospital with the help of the police air ambulance, but later both were confirmed dead.
