Kabul: At least 950 Taliban militants have been killed in clashes between Afghan forces and the Taliban. Clashes have been reported in more than 20 provinces and nine cities over the past four days. The Taliban’s attempt to seize more territory follows the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.
The Afghan Home Ministry said it had regained control of the Sorkh-e-Parsa district of Parwan and the Mailstan district of Ghazni in the past 24 hours.
