Tbilisi: 12 Indians were found dead in a Georgian resort. The incident took place at a restaurant in the famous mountain resort of Gudauri in Georgia. The Indian Embassy said that all the deceased were employees of the same restaurant. The Georgian Interior Ministry said that they died of carbon monoxide inhalation.
They were found dead in a bedroom on the second floor. Authorities said that no other injuries or attempts at robbery were found on the body. The initial conclusion is that the cause of death may have been inhalation of toxic fumes from a generator installed inside the building. A generator was also found near the room. A criminal case has been registered in the incident.
