Bengaluru: The first Covid death in India has been confirmed. Mohammed Hussain Siddiqui, a resident of Kalburgi in Karnataka, died of Covid. The 76-year-old man died yesterday. On February 29, he left Saudi Arabia for Umrah and was later treated at Kalburgi Hospital on March 5. It was confirmed today that the death was caused by Covid. The Government of Karnataka is preparing to collect information on those who came in contact with him.
