Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that Kerala has informed the Prime Minister that it is not time to go back to the situation before the lockdown. The Chief Minister said this while discussing the proposals put forward by the Prime Minister in a video conference with the state’s chief ministers.
If people travel uncontrollably, the social spreading of the disease will happen faster. In states with high population density, such as Kerala, the situation is serious. Due to the increasing prevalence of the disease, restrictions on hotspot restrictions should continue until April 30.
The state government should be able to do the things sanctioned by ensuring social distance in non-hot districts. CM also demanded that the States be empowered to take a decision regarding this.
