Thiruvananthapuram: The State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) has directed that no one should go to sea off the coast of Kerala till further notice as strong winds of 40 to 50 kmph is expected along Kerala coast, Karnataka coast, and Lakshadweep region.
Special caution:
12-09-2020 to 16-09-2020: Strong winds of 45 to 55 km per hour are expected in the south-eastern Arabian Sea.
12-09-2020 & 13-09-2020: Strong winds at 40-50 kmph in the Mid-Eastern Arabian Sea. The Kerala-Karnataka coast and Lakshadweep region are likely to experience strong winds and bad weather at speeds of 40 to 50 kmph.
14-09-2020 to 16-09-2020: Strong winds with speeds of 45 to 55 km per hour in the mid-eastern Arabian Sea. Strong winds of 45 to 55 kmph are expected along the Kerala-Karnataka coast and in the Lakshadweep region.
12-09-2020 to 14-09-2020: Chance of strong winds and bad weather at 45 to 55 kmph off the coast of Andhra Pradesh and in the Bay of Bengal.
It is not allowed to go fishing in the above areas on the above days.
