Thiruvananthapuram: State film awards announced. Mammootty won the best actor award for ‘Nanpakal Nerath Mayakam’ and Vincy Aloysius won the best actress award for ‘Rekha’. Ratheesh Balakrishna Phuduwal’s ‘Nna Than Kes Kodu’ was chosen as the best popular film while Lijo Jose Pellissery’s ‘Nanpakal Nerath Mayakkum’ won the best film award. While Ratheesh Balakrishna Phudhuwal won the best screenplay award, the jury chose Mahesh Narayanan as the best director for the film ‘Ariyippu’.
