The novel Ananthabhadram becomes a movie again. It was written by Sunil Parameswaran. Writer Sunil Parameswaran announced the film through Facebook. The name of the new film is ‘Digambaran’. Digambaran cinema will be directed by Vivek, who directed Fahad Fazil’s Athiran.
Filming will take place in Dhanushkodi and the Himalayas if the covid restrictions are changed. Sunil Parameshwar said in a note shared on Facebook that this will be the first time in the world that two films will be made based on a novel. He says that can see another face of Digambaran in the film.
Santosh Sivan directed Ananthabhadram in 2005 with Prithviraj and Kavya Madhavan in the lead roles.
