Thiruvananthapuram: Lottery sales started in the state. Sales comply with Covid’s code of conduct. The mask and sanitizer are provided for lottery sellers via the welfare fund board. The lottery was stopped on March 23 due to the lockdown. The lottery was replaced with a draw of eight lotteries.
The Summer Bumper draw will take place on June 26. The government has decided to use the profits from the sale of lotteries to the entire COVID prevention program. The government has also ordered the recover the unsold lottery up to 30 percent.
Tickets will only be returned for a book containing 25 tickets. Tickets will not be returned for retail. The sellers, who are members of the welfare fund, owe 100 tickets. The money should be repaid in installments before Onam. If the unused tickets arrive at the Lottery Office as part of the closure, a new ticket will be issued for the same draw.
