The KSEB board has cautioned that there may be a brief period of power outage from 6:30 pm to 11 pm.
Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has issued a notification warning of possible electricity control in the state today. The board has cautioned that there may be a brief period of power outage from 6:30 pm to 11 pm. This action has been taken in light of the reduced power supply from Idukki and Koodamkulam power plants due to technical failures.
The notification also urges consumers to minimize their electricity consumption until 11 pm. KSEB has requested the cooperation of all consumers in this regard. The board has stated that if there is an unavoidable situation, it may have to restrict power supply for a short period of time.
KSEB has assured that it is taking all necessary steps to restore power supply as soon as possible. The board has also advised consumers to switch off all non-essential electrical appliances during the period of power control. KSEB has apologized for the inconvenience caused and has requested the understanding and cooperation of all consumers during this time.
