CHANCE OF RAIN IN KERALA FOR THE NEXT FIVE DAYS
By Friday, there will be a low-pressure over the Bay of Bengal and Kerala may get the possibility of rain for the next five days.
The National Meteorological Center has predicted that rain would fall in the state during the next five days. The Meteorological Department further stated that light isolated rain is possible in Kerala for the next five days due to the influence of low pressure. The current monsoon trough is in the Himalayan valley. The meteorological service predicts that it will move south and return to its regular position by Friday. By August 18th low pressure may form in the North Bay of Bengal.
From now to the 20th, the districts of Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod are predicted to experience light to moderate rain. In the meantime, there are no heavy rain warnings in Kerala. The Department of Central Meteorological has confirmed that fishing won’t be affected in the Kerala-Karnataka coast and also in Lakshadweep.
The Central Meteorological Department as a warning stated that High winds with speeds of 40 to 45 km/h, and sometimes up to 55 km/h, are possible in the South-East Bay of Bengal.
