Thiruvananthapuram: Along with strong Monsoon, the state is receiving heavy rains due to a low-pressure system from South Maharashtra coast to South Gujarati coast. According to the warning issued by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of widespread rain today. Yellow alert has been declared in 11 districts. Warning in districts except Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Pathanamthitta. There is a warning in these districts for the next three days. Fishing ban will continue till Wednesday in Kerala, Karnataka and Lakshadweep coasts due to the possibility of rough seas. There is a possibility of heavy sea attack on the Kerala coast. The Disaster Management Authority has warned coastal residents to be alert.
