Thiruvananthapuram: The weather center has said that there is little chance of widespread rain in the state from today.
But heavy rain is likely at isolated places. Central Kerala and North Kerala are likely to receive more rain today. South Kerala may receive intermittent rain.
According to the Meteorological Department, chances of rain will continue till 22nd. The Central Meteorological Department has informed that as a result of strong low pressure in the Arabian Sea becoming a weak low pressure, another low pressure prevailing over North East Vidarbha and nearby area and the monsoon trough has shifted from its normal position to the north, there is a possibility of heavy rains at up to 22 isolated places.
Yellow Alert today only in Malappuram, Kannur and Kasaragod districts. There is a yellow alert in four districts tomorrow. Yellow alert tomorrow in Palakkad, Malappuram, Kannur and Kasaragod districts. Yellow alert in Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Palakkad and Malappuram districts on 21st and Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram districts on 22nd.
