Thiruvananthapuram: The food department has decided to distribute Vishukit in Kerala from April 1. It was decided to distribute the kit at the end of March and later to the blue, pink, and white cardholders. The kit will be given to all cardholders irrespective of the card.
The government may also suggest that ration shops be reopened on April 1 or 2, which is a public holiday. The kits were already ready to be delivered to AAY families before March 31st.
The Food Department has also decided to question the Election Commission’s ban on the distribution of special rice at the rate of Rs 15 per 10 kg to white and blue cardholders.
