Adoor: Sooraj’s mother Renuka, sister Surya, the main accused in the Uthra murder case was arrested by the Crime Branch team.
The investigation is charged with conspiracy and destruction of evidence. The two arrested from the house in Adoor were taken to the Kottarakkara. They are being questioned by the investigation team.
In this case, the two were released after being questioned earlier. The investigation team had filed the first charge sheet in the case last day. In it, Suraj made it clear that he was the mastermind behind the murder. His mother and sister were later arrested.
In the second charge sheet of the case, Suraj’s father, mother, and sister were arrested. The move by the Crime Branch is to make the role of the people clear.
