Two trains operating from Kerala to North India have been cancelled. Two trains have been completely cancelled on selected days in February. The Thiruvananthapuram-Korba and Korba-Thiruvananthapuram Superfast Express and the Gorakhpur-Thiruvananthapuram and Thiruvananthapuram-Gorakhpur Express have been cancelled.
The Thiruvananthapuram-Korba Superfast Express (Train No. 22648) has been cancelled on February 3, 6 and 10. The Korba – Thiruvananthapuram Superfast Express (Train No. 22647) has been completely cancelled on February 5, 8 and 12.
The Gorakhpur-Thiruvananthapuram Raptisagar Superfast Express (Train No. 12511) has been completely cancelled on February 7 and 9. Thiruvananthapuram-Gorakhpur Raptisagar Superfast Express (12512) has been completely cancelled on February 11 and 12.
Heavy fog in North India has severely affected train services. Due to this, some trains are running late, the Railways said. Around 15 trains are running late due to adverse weather conditions.
