Malappuram: Gold worth two and a half crore rupees seized from Karipur airport. Customs seized gold from four passengers.
1034 grams of gold mixture was seized from Rishad, a resident of Palakkad, Kootnad, and 850 grams from Muhammad Shamili, a resident of Wayanad, Mananthavady. Five capsules containing 1537 grams of gold were recovered from Muhammad Shafi, a native of Tharavur, Malappuram, and four capsules containing 1159 grams of gold were recovered from Shihabuddin, a native of Thirunavaya.
