Kochi: The High Court has directed the Registrar General to hand over six phones of actor Dileep to the Aluva court today in connection with the attack on the actress and the attempt to endanger the investigating officers. The High Court has directed the Registrar General to hand over six phones of actor Dileep to the Aluva court today. Dileep had objected to the court’s statement that the phones were being handed over to the DGP and asked the court not to do so.
Meanwhile, the Aluva Magistrate may decide whether to hand over the phones to the inquiry team. Dileep will give the court the pattern of unlocking the phone. The prosecution also demanded that Dileep’s other phones be produced. While considering the petition, the court said that there was a growing opinion that special consideration was being given to the accused and this could not be encouraged. The court also said that the other accused would appear in court tomorrow seeking the same consideration. Consideration of Dileep’s anticipatory bail has been postponed to another day. The case will be heard again at 1.45 pm the next day.
