Krishnakumar, the prime witness to the ivory possession case of actor Mohanlal has died. The main witness died while the ivory-related cases were burning.
He had been undergoing treatment for a long time with kidney failure. Krishnakumar was also the producer of films like Arante Mulla Kochumulla and Guruji Oru Vakku. Singer Nikhil is his son. In 2011, Krishnakumar had filed an affidavit with the Forest Conservator pointing out that he had given ivory to Mohanlal. The affidavit states that he had owned ivory for the past 28 years. The high court had issued notices to parties including Mohanlal in the ivory case. Meanwhile, Krishnakumar passed away.
