In the current scenario, the monsoon withdrawal is likely to be delayed by two weeks. In the last 24 hours, rainfall in Vadakara was 10 cm, Konni 7, Alappuzha and Nedumbassery six centimeters. Rainfall will be widespread in all districts. Isolated heavy rains are also possible.

The fishermen should be vigilant as strong winds can blow up to 55 kmph on the Kerala coast, the Met Office said. The state has received 13 percent more rainfall so far.
