With this, the minimum charge on the bus will increase to Rs 10. There is also an increase in student concessions.

At present, the distance of 2.5 km is Rs 8. This is increased to ten rupees. For the subsequent distance, 80 paise per km will be one rupee. The minimum charge for students will be increased to Rs 5. At present, the rate for students is Rs. 5 per 1.5 km and Rs. 2 per 1 km. The proposal is to increase the fare to Rs. 5 for these two distances.
Travel will be free for children from BPL families. Ordinary buses that start their service between 8 pm and 5 am will be charged 50 percent more.
