Thiruvananthapuram:The arrest of Grishma, accused in the Parassala Sharon Raj murder case, will be recorded today. The authorities informed that the collection of evidence and further action will be decided later. The crime branch has assessed that Greeshma’s health condition is not in danger. The investigation team said that the arrest will be recorded today. The investigation team said that it is suspected that Greeshma’s suicide attempt was a drama. The crime branch is assessing it as a ploy to evade interrogation.
Greeshma tried to commit suicide by drinking Lysol in the washroom of the police station. SPD Shilpa informed that Greeshma’s health condition is satisfactory and the magistrate will be taken to the hospital and the arrest of Greeshma will be registered. The SP said that the policemen who were in charge of security at the station had failed in the incident of Greeshma drinking disinfectant and action would be taken against the policemen who failed.
The defendant herself said that she drank the solution. She was able to get to the hospital because she knew right away. The SP added that the stomach was washed immediately and now the health condition is satisfactory. Precautions have been taken to avoid any infection. The rural SP said that the magistrate will be brought to the hospital and the arrest will be registered here.
