Thiruvananthapuram: The courts in the state will work online from Monday. The proceedings of the High Court and the lower courts are being streamlined online in the wake of the covid expansion. The High Court issued a circular in this regard. The public will also be restricted from entering the courts.
Only in unavoidable cases will the case be heard directly. Only a maximum of 15 people will be allowed to enter the court. The District Magistrate should look into the matter. The decision was taken by the High Court in a full-court sitting chaired by the Chief Justice. The Bar Council and the Advocates’ Association were also consulted on making the court proceedings online.
