Chennai: In the wake of Covid, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, after Karnataka and Delhi, are imposing restrictions on people from Kerala.
Tamil Nadu has made home quarantine compulsory for a week for those coming from Kerala. The authorities have clarified that no restrictions have been imposed on tourists coming from Kerala. In Ooty, the district collector has imposed restrictions. Those arriving in Ooty will have to carry a Covid negative certificate
West Bengal controls four states, including Kerala. Those coming to Bengal from Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka, and Maharashtra are advised to produce the Covid negative RT-PCR test result. Passengers are required to present the test results within 72 hours. The regulation will take effect from Saturday.
