Thiruvananthapuram: Police imposed restrictions on DJ parties in the state. Police tightened controls following an intelligence warning of possible drug use. DJ parties are not allowed after 10 p.m. The hotel owner has also been asked to provide details of party attendees to the police.
DGP Anil Kant was also directed to conduct a strict check on the parties. The party will be held only in areas where CCTV cameras are installed. The footage should be made available as requested by the police. The police said they would not allow the party to proceed unless these conditions were met. Police have issued notices to two hotels. Notices will be issued to hotels, resorts, and malls across the state in the same manner.
