Thiruvananthapuram: The re-polling in the Kannur and Kasargod is continuing. The re-polling held after found that bogus vote has been occurred in these two districts in Kerala by the election commission.
The woman voters those wear purdah will be observed. “We have appointed women officials for this- Chief Election Commission Tikaram Meena Said. The DYSP will have the supervision to ensure smooth and secure voting in all seven constituencies. The polls are from 7 am to 6 pm.
The Enclosure facility is specially designed to identify those who wearing purdah veil in polling stations. A local village officer, teacher and Anganwadi worker are appointed as officers. Each polling station is set up to safeguard women’s privacy completely.
