Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department has warned of widespread rains in the state. Yellow alert has been declared in eight districts today. The yellow alert was issued in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki and Thrissur districts.
The Central Meteorological Department has warned of isolated thunderstorms in Kerala till June 1. Rain is expected in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki districts tomorrow. The yellow alert issued in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram and Kozhikode districts on Tuesday and in Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod districts on Wednesday.
