Kochi: The government informed the High Court that the park in Kakadampoil, owned by Nilambur MLA and businessman PV Anwar, does not have a license. The government replied in the High Court that it has applied for the license. The license was not issued due to an error in the application. The government has also informed that the requested supplementary documents have not been produced.
The court asked how the park could operate without a license. The government has also been instructed to give a reply in this regard. The petitioners asked the court to close the park. The plea will be heard again today.
This made it clear that the children’s park in Kakadampoil is operating without any license. It is argued in the petition that he committed a serious violation of the law as a representative of the people.
When the petition was considered earlier, the left-wing P.V. The High Court had directed the government to find out whether Anwar MLA’s park in Kakadampoil has a license. The High Court directed that the reply should be given within three days. After that, the government informed that there is no license now.
The petitioner in the case had submitted an RTI document to the court stating that the panchayat did not have a license to open the children’s park. The argument in the petition is that the park which was closed by the collector was opened by the government.
